• Mrs SteamCloudy began drawing in early childhood; from the moment a child is first handed a pencil, she has never stopped creating. Entirely self-taught, she has relied on observation to visualize her own universe. She has explored a wide range of artistic disciplines, including painting on canvas, wood, and other surfaces, as well as sculpture.

• She enjoys combining mediums and reimagining a single subject in various forms. She has breathed life into many of her paintings through texts, which she subsequently translated into music.

• After completing her general education, Mrs SteamCloudy worked in the performing arts sector, creating large-scale murals. In March 2020, she registered as a professional artist, setting out to mark her canvases with the traces of her own inner fractures.

• This marked the birth of her current style: Dark Surrealism—paintings that blend dreamlike imagery with darkness. For her, creation is a vital force, a visceral need to externalize the darkness within her mind. Psychology is a central theme in her work; she strives tirelessly to find metaphors that truly resonate.

• The artist places great importance on depicting psychiatric conditions, psychological suffering, and neurodivergence. Often relegated to the shadows of society, she aims—in her own way—to acknowledge the true magnitude of these experiences.

• For Mrs SteamCloudy, expressing the darkness invisible to the naked eye through surrealist metaphors is a way to transform suffering into imagery, reflecting it outward beyond the confines of the mind.
